I would paint the walls a soft blue/grey. However I would probably do a Grey glaze instead of the brown... This would be very nice and fresh, light and airy and cottage like. I would also re-stain your pass-through top to match what you use for your barn board counter tops or paint it out. It has too much yellow tone. And yes, as you replied to a comment earlier... always go with your gut instinct... it is usually right. I love Breath of Fresh Air blue by BM but it may be a little bright for what you're looking for. I love that you painted your cabinets white... such a big difference already.
