What shall I do?

We had a very busy weekend here. :)
Some weekends are like that. I worked on a few pieces. My Bookdesk finally sold! Very happy about that. So I replaced it with my Two Toned Waterfall dresser. Then took my Daughter and her friend out for a long overdue Pedicure
Blondie here is my daughter who was home for the weekend from College. I still find it hard to believe my "baby" doesn't live with us anymore. Not sure how that happened!
So anyway, once we got to the Pedi place my phone goes off. The waterfall dresser I had just place in my booth 30 min ago had sold! YIKES. I mean I'm really happy it went so quickly, but now I felt rushed to get home and get my executive desk out and into my booth. It seems I can never get ahead of that booth. Everytime I get something done and in there it sells. Which is great, don't get me wrong, but I would like to have a few extra pieces laying around so I don't feel rushed.
After the Pedi, we went home, loaded up the desk and brought it in. I'm sorry I don't have pictures of it :( If I have time today I will go and take some at the booth.
We went home, and I decided that I just didn't feel like making supper...so off we went for a dinner out..happy me!! :)
Now let me introduce you to my wonderful "mr crafty"
Yup...he's a goof. Heaven forbid he smiles for the camera first time around. Goofy face and all. I just love him :)
Then looking at the pic he felt guilty and asked for a re-shoot.
 Much better my dear :)
Supper was YUMMY and even better because I didn't have to make it.
It was the perfect end to a hectic day!

So last week I finished a buffet and hutch for a client of mine. I loved what she did with her space and I loved how she is using the buffet/hutch. It really inspired me to take a second look at my office. Be prepared. this isn't pretty.
My office in all it's messy glory!
A lot of this "stuff" is for my booth.
That corner unit was made by my wonderful father in law, it has lighting in it and is full of die cast cars.
Cars are a "bit" of a passion for us.

We bought this picture when we got married..its where we were married, the day was perfect..sun shining and maybe a hundred sail boats on the Lake in front of the gazebo. :)
My desk is neutral, big and I love it!
Every time I clear off my desk, I swear I'm going to keep it clean..but that never seems to work. So much for best intentions.
This is the colour of my walls. I love love love this colour.
But I want to do something different for storage. I would love to have a huge buffet and hutch in there. Get rid of all the other shelving and storage, move out the corner unit and really make it mine.
I am looking for other ideas? What colour would you paint a hutch?
If any of you have idea..I would love to hear them.
:) Have a wonderful Monday!
Linking up :)

  1. always something going, huh. Mrs. SMith has a lot of furniture in her booth, and we hope it starts moving this month so I can empty out my garage a little for the other projects coming down the chute.
